Product Care
Jewelry from ALO diamonds is made of precious metals and stones. Nevertheless, it is good to keep in mind that any piece of jewelry is a fragile work of art that can be irreversibly damaged by unwanted treatment.
SOME KEY POINTS TO HAVE IN MIND
- Put away your jewelry during sports and physical work. The crown holding the stone could come loose and you risk losing the gemstone.
- Avoid contact with hard and rough objects. Although a diamond is the hardest mineral, it can crack if it hits it with great force at an angle. Other stones such as emerald, kunzite, opal, peridot, tanzanite, thurmaline or pearls are very fine and can be easily scratched.
- Do not expose the jewelry to extreme temperatures and protect it from household cleaners.
- Put your jewelry away for the night. Everyone should have their place in a separate box lined with textiles (for example, in the one in which you bought the jewelry) or in a cloth bag in the jewelry box.
- Once a year, have your jeweler carry out complete maintenance and service of your jewelery, such as cleaning, polishing or restoring the surface finish, checking the attachment of the stone or rhodium plating of white gold.
