Are you about to pop the most important question of the relationship and choosing the perfect ring? Or are you buying a ring for another occasion? Besides the design, the right size is very important. We know that this can be a tricky situation, so we've put together a sizing guide to make choosing and buying easier. And if the ring still doesn't end up fitting, we'll adjust, exchange or make the size you need free of charge.
How to choose the right ring size?
There are special measuring rings for measuring, but it is easy to do without them. Download the ring size sheet, place the existing ring you are selecting from on the printed size sheet and compare the inside diameter of the ring to the size shown. The number above the corresponding circle indicates the ring size.
Measuring with measuring rings
The most accurate measurement is with measuring rings. Here are some tips on how to measure as accurately as possible:
- The best time to measure is at the end of the day when the fingers are at their largest.
- Take into account that in the summer months the fingers tend to swell more, so the size increases by at least one size during the day, and in winter the skin of the fingers tightens due to the cold.
- Repeat the measurements several times during the day.
- Rings with a wider bezel, e.g. 4 mm, fit in larger sizes than standard 3 mm bezels.
- If you have a larger knuckle than the root of the finger, keep in mind that the ring must go over the knuckle, this will make the fit looser at the root of the finger.
- The ring should never be tight, due to external conditions it can cause swelling and bleeding of the fingers, the size should always be loose so that the ring can be easily turned from side to side or there should be a gap of about 2 mm when the ring is pressed against the bed.
- The ring should be able to be removed from the finger without pressure or wrinkling of the finger skin.
- If you are hesitating between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Ring size adjustment
If the size is wrong, you don't have to worry, we will adjust the size to your exact specifications free of charge, replace the ring or make a new one in the size you need.
Our jewellers will enlarge or reduce your ring by 2 to 3 sizes free of charge. It normally takes 2-3 weeks to resize rings. If the ring has a specific design and therefore cannot be made smaller or larger using the normal process, we will make you a new ring. In this case, the delivery time may be longer. Some designs require gold or an additional stone to be added when the ring is enlarged, in such cases the appropriate amount must be paid. The option of free resizing or exchange for another size applies only to unworn ALO diamonds rings.
